Meditative Paint Night with Stella Maris Yoga Studio

June 27th, 2025 @ 6:30pm - 5 Elm Street, Wareham, MA @ Stella Maris Yoga Studio

We recently hosted a Meditative Paint Night in collaboration with Stella Maris Yoga Studio in Wareham, Massachusetts, blending creativity, mindfulness, and community connection.

The evening was designed to guide participants in exploring how meditation, breathwork, and painting can come together as a powerful practice for relaxation and self-expression.

Led by Meclina Gomes, Co-founder and Artist Director, the two-hour workshop opened with a meditative session that included breathwork and gentle arm-stretching techniques. This grounding practice set the tone, allowing everyone to arrive fully in the moment before moving into the creative process.

From there, we shifted into color theory—exploring how certain colors can evoke emotions, spark relaxation, and awaken vibrancy. Participants created a layered flower design, each stroke building new textures, techniques, and moments of reflection.

But this wasn’t just a paint night—it was an immersive experience where breath became dance, hand movements became choreography, and paint became the language of each participant’s unique story.

The result was more than beautiful artwork—it was a space for people to unwind, make new friendships, and carry home a reflection of their inner beauty and light.

We are grateful to Stella Maris for inviting us to bring this vision to life, and to every participant who shared their energy, creativity, and presence with us!
